One Good Deed Does Not Deserve Another

The title may sound a little harsh but hear me out on this one...

I've heard many a person complain that no one ever does anything for them and so they are not going to do anything for anyone else...how sad this makes me!!!

We should not spend our lives expecting nor waiting for others to do things for us, help us or make our lives easier and expecting others to do good deeds for us and show us a bit of human kind.

While we're living, the dreams we have as children fade away

Yes... I stole the title from an Oasis track... Why? Because it sparked thoughts... good ones... and that's my point!

All too often we stop dreaming... stop wishing and hoping... Instead we settle for 'more of the same'... we become predictable... and stop believing that we can actually achieve so much more...we have the ability to actually achieve our dreams.

Cast your mind back to your school days...when an adult asked you what you wanted to be when you grown up...you had wild dreams about being a fireman or fighter pilot...nurse or professional footballer...nothing could stop you...you acted out your profession using anything you could find...boxes, cups, pipe cleaners, sticky back plastic...and let your imagination run wild...and there's the key thing to it all...letting your imagination run...let it be free to explore what could be...what CAN be.

Tour Life - Burhill...So Close

Well another week on the Euro Pro Tour caddying for Stuart and we return to where he tasted victory last year... Burhill Golf Club in Surrey.

Now for me this is the perfect week, I live 10 minutes from the club and have played the course more times than I care to remember... I know it like the back of my hand... So no need for me to get involved in any practice round this week... I left Stu to have a match with his buddies instead... Matty, Paul Reedy and Steve Uzzell.

The weather forecast for the week was eerrr shocking to say the least.. If the rain doesn't get to you... the 50mph gusts of wind will!!! It's a case of battening down the hatches.. makes sure you're warm and dry and you keep everything in the bag dry too... It goes without saying that not only is it my job to help keep Stu dry, but all his clubs, gloves, food etc.. as well as myself.

Lazy Days, Injury and The Winners Circle

Wow...what a crazy few weeks it has been...well...hardly crazy Lee...but very different from how my life has gone over the last 8 years...

8 long years of office life staring into a computer screen...he says' sat here looking at one now...but in a whole different set of circumstances.  This time I am relaxed and pretty much carefree...so what am I up to?  Why am I so relaxed?

New beginnings and a hint of sunshine

Well... Life does take some funny turns... some lefts, some rights... and some straight forward!

Since my last post I can now confirm that I have been made redundant from the company I worked for, for 8 years.. but please don't be sad...it's turned out to be probably the second best thing to happen... behind getting that job in the first place... Odd hey...
