Thoughtful Thursday - Big Greedy Puppets

This woman talks FACT... I don't know of a single UK government minister or politician that talks with this candidness and actually provides facts as apposed to slander against their opposition.  The UK government and opposition simply skirt round issues and just blame each other all the time.

They don't want change because as this senator says, they are happy with being greedy and having all the wealth and opportunities, and back handers, favours and corruption that they get to control when in fact the public put them where they are, put their trust in them to do the right thing...

I think there is however issue that the power lies with big businesses and the rich who effectively manipulate and coerce the government into passing laws that benefit them and then they don't share the wealth...

They don't reward the people that truly get them to be rich... The workers.

The workers don't crave to be filthy rich.. They crave to be comfortable enough to not have to worry about feeding and educating their children, to be able to keep a roof over their head and have a degree of luxury. All the rewards that working hard should provide.

Some might say "well they should start their own business"... My response is if all workers became company owners... Who does the work? More needs to be done to educate the greedy that if they care about their workers, care about their happiness (which leads to a more productive, committed, loyal workforce) their business would still be successful and possible even more so than it already is...

You also need to look at greedy investors and board members that suck the life out of companies by investing (which does carry risk for them, but they have the money to lose in the first place) and demanding unrealistic short term growth plans so they can get their massive return and exit.. Leaving behind a company that cannot sustain the big growth in the medium to long term.

Set sustainable growth plans, create longevity for the company, for the workers and for the clients.

So it isn't just the government... Politicians are in fact just the puppets for the financial institutions that are controlling our world and big business and not the majority of the public.

None of them want to tackle the tough decisions with any conviction, they don't want to rock the boat... Or should I say 'yacht' they are on... They'd rather keep the status quo and leave everyone else to try and stay afloat with their water wings that have holes in.

(Climbs down from soapbox)
